This cabinet is the first version of two projects utilizing the same oval forms in construction (see Foyer Table). The jewelry cabinet here was by far the most complicated to construct. There are four curved doors and a bank of nine small drawers on the inside which follow the curve. The woods on the outside are coarsely grained and straight-lined, opening up to an interior of smooth, velvety, figured maple.
